TL;DR
Zoho CRM connects with the rest of your stack through direct integrations, Marketplace extensions, Zoho Flow, and custom APIs.
The five integrations covered here solve different jobs: tl;dv brings meeting data into CRM, QuickBooks connects sales and finance, Mailchimp keeps marketing data in sync, Shopify adds ecommerce context, and WhatsApp brings customer messaging into Zoho. The best Zoho integrations are the ones that remove a handoff your team already deals with every day.
For teams that spend a lot of time on customer calls, tl;dv can also remove a common post-meeting task. Once a recording is ready, it can create the activity in Zoho CRM or update the matching Contact without the rep copying information over manually.

Why Zoho CRM Works Better With Integrations
Zoho CRM is usually one part of a wider business software stack. Most companies use different tools for different jobs, such as meetings, marketing, ecommerce, billing, and customer communication.
Zoho CRM Integrations help bring that information into the CRM or keep it updated automatically.
Depending on the tool, that could mean:
- logging a meeting after it ends
- syncing Contacts, Leads, orders, or invoices
- keeping marketing and CRM records aligned
- adding customer activity from another platform
- triggering a follow-up action in Zoho
Before setting one up, check how the data moves. Some integrations sync one way, others sync both ways, and some work through triggers and actions. It is also worth checking how records are matched and what happens when the same field has different values in each system.
Types of Zoho CRM Integrations
Zoho gives you several ways to connect CRM with other tools. Which route to pick depends on how much control the workflow needs and whether Zoho already supports the connection.
Remember, Zoho CRM also works closely with other Zoho apps, including Zoho Books, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Projects, Zoho Desk, etc. If your team is already a part of the wider Zoho ecosystem, these integrations can keep customer, finance, project, and reporting data connected without adding another third-party platform.
Direct Zoho CRM Integrations
Some tools connect directly with Zoho CRM.
QuickBooks is one example (and we will go deeper into this one in the next section). Zoho’s current integration synchronizes sales and accounting records without requiring a separate automation platform in the middle. Contacts, Accounts, Vendors, and Products support two-way sync, while Quotes, Invoices, and Purchase Orders flow from QuickBooks into Zoho CRM.
A direct integration usually makes sense when it already covers the records, fields, and actions your team needs.
Zoho Marketplace Extensions
Zoho Marketplace adds third-party functionality to CRM through extensions.
Mailchimp and Shopify both use this route. Each extension has its own rules for sync direction, field mapping, conflicts, and the modules it can access.
Check those details before installing anything. An extension may connect the two products without supporting the exact fields or records your workflow depends on.
Zoho Flow
Zoho Flow gives you a no-code option when a ready-made integration does not cover the whole workflow.
A flow starts with an event in one application and then runs one or more actions. That works well for workflows that cross several tools or need more specific logic than a standard integration provides.
You still need to define what should trigger the workflow, which record it should find, and what it should change. Flow simply gives you more room to build that sequence without developing the connection yourself.
Custom API Integrations
Zoho CRM also supports custom integrations through its APIs.
This route suits proprietary software, internal systems, or workflows with field logic that the standard options cannot handle. It also gives your team more work to maintain. Someone needs to manage authentication, failures, API limits, mappings, and future changes to the systems involved.
I would only go custom once the existing integration options stop short of what you actually need.
Our CRM integration guide goes deeper into record matching, field mapping, APIs, webhooks, and sync direction.
5 Best Zoho CRM Integrations
Zoho CRM works with hundreds of apps, so the list below focuses on five integrations that solve common workflows across meetings, finance, marketing, ecommerce, and customer messaging.
| Integracja | Use it when… | Setup route |
|---|---|---|
| tl;dv | Reps still do CRM admin after customer calls | tl;dv Workflows |
| QuickBooks | Sales regularly needs billing or invoice context | Direct Zoho integration |
| Mailchimp | Marketing and sales maintain overlapping contact databases | Marketplace extension |
| Shopify | Sales or support needs purchase context inside CRM | Marketplace extension |
| WhatsApp Business | WhatsApp is already a meaningful sales or support channel | Zoho Business Messaging |
1. tl;dv for Meeting Data & CRM Updates
Customer calls produce a lot of the information teams eventually store in CRM. The delay usually happens after the meeting.
A sales rep finishes a discovery call, moves on to the next task, then has to come back later and log the activity in Zoho. Even when meeting notes already exist, someone still needs to move that useful information into the CRM.
The tl;dv Zoho CRM integration handles that post-meeting step through the Workflows Engine. It currently offers two Zoho CRM actions: Create Activity and Update Contact.
Create Activity in Zoho CRM
tl;dv can create a Call or Meeting once a new recording is ready.
A workflow could look like this:
When a new recording is ready → Create Activity in Zoho CRM → Activity type: Meeting
tl;dv matches participants to Zoho CRM records using their email addresses. It can link the new activity to the matched Deal, Contact, Lead, or Account.
The workflow gets the start time, end time, and duration from the meeting, so the rep does not have to enter those details again. It can also attach a Note to the activity.
To test it, take a discovery call with an existing prospect. Once tl;dv finishes processing the recording, the workflow finds the matching record, creates the Meeting activity, adds the timing, and sends the meeting information you configured for the Note.
The rep can finish the call and move on without recreating the meeting inside Zoho.
Update Contact in Zoho CRM
The second action updates the matched Contact.
The workflow starts when the recording is ready and uses the external participant’s email to find the corresponding Zoho CRM Contact. It can then update the Contact Description with information from the meeting and attach a Note.
You can use dynamic meeting data such as AI-generated notes, transcript content, meeting title, participant information, or other variables available in the workflow.
Suppose a customer confirms a new priority and agrees on the next action during a call. Instead of leaving that information in the meeting notes until somebody updates Zoho, the workflow can add it to the Contact after tl;dv processes the recording.
Update Contact currently writes meeting information to the Contact Description. Update Lead, Update Account, and Update Deal are also visible in the workflow interface as upcoming actions.
Create Activity currently supports Call and Meeting. Task is not yet available.
Setting Up the tl;dv Zoho CRM Workflow
The setup follows a simple sequence:
- Open Zoho CRM from the tl;dv Integrations page.
- Choose Create Activity or Update Contact.
- Set When a new recording is ready as the trigger.
- Add meeting filters if you only want the workflow to run for certain calls.
- Connect your Zoho CRM account.
- Choose the action fields and meeting variables you want to send.
- Test the workflow using an existing meeting.
- Open the result in Zoho CRM, check the record, then activate the workflow.
Meeting filters help here. A discovery call, renewal conversation, and onboarding meeting usually need different information, so pushing every recording through one generic workflow rarely makes sense.
The matching logic also deserves a quick check during testing. tl;dv matches Contacts using participant email. If that email does not exist in Zoho CRM, the Update Contact action has no Contact to update.
When several records could match, test the kinds of meetings your team actually runs and confirm the workflow lands on the right record before switching it on for everyone.
You can see the current tl;dv and Zoho integration or read more about connecting Zoho with your meeting workflow.
We also cover the wider problem of automating CRM logging from sales calls, including the difference between logging an activity, storing notes, and updating structured CRM information.
If your team mainly uses Google Meet, there is also a dedicated Google Meet and Zoho integration.
If your team spends a lot of time on customer calls, updating Zoho after every meeting can quickly become another chunk of admin. Automating the post-call update cuts down that work and keeps the CRM current without relying on reps to do it later.
2. QuickBooks for Sales & Finance
Zoho CRM’s QuickBooks integration connects customer and product records in CRM with the financial records managed in QuickBooks.
The sync is not the same for every module:
- Contacts, Accounts, Vendors, and Products support two-way sync.
- Quotes, Invoices, and Purchase Orders move from QuickBooks into Zoho CRM.
- You can map QuickBooks fields to existing CRM fields or create new CRM fields during setup.
- Zoho adds a
QuickBooks Record Linkto imported financial records, so you can open the original record in QuickBooks from CRM.
The one-way financial records have an important limitation. Once QuickBooks Quotes, Invoices, or Purchase Orders sync into Zoho CRM, Zoho locks those records in CRM.
You cannot edit them there. Zoho also disables the creation of native Quotes, Invoices, and Purchase Orders in CRM after you configure the integration.
Zoho now also lets users download synced Quotes, Invoices, and Purchase Orders as PDFs directly from CRM.
3. Mailchimp for Marketing & Contact Sync
Mailchimp for Zoho CRM gives you quite a lot of control over how marketing and CRM records move between the two systems.
When you configure the extension, you can choose:
BulkorSelectivesync- one-way or two-way sync
- Mailchimp → Zoho CRM or Zoho CRM → Mailchimp
- daily or weekly scheduled sync
- which Mailchimp fields map to which CRM fields
- whether Mailchimp subscribers should become Leads or Contacts
Zoho also lets you choose what happens when the two systems disagree. CRM always wins protects the value already stored in Zoho, while Mailchimp always wins allows Mailchimp data to overwrite it during sync.
Subscription status also moves between the two systems. When someone subscribes or unsubscribes in Mailchimp, Zoho updates the corresponding Email Opt Out and member status in CRM. Changes made to that opt-out field in CRM can flow back to Mailchimp as well.
4. Shopify for Customer & Order Data
Shopify’s Zoho integration goes beyond the basic sync of customer details.
During setup, you can choose whether Shopify customers should enter Zoho CRM as Leads or Contacts. Zoho then organizes the ecommerce data across several CRM modules:
- Shopify customers → Leads or Contacts
- Products → Products
- Orders, including draft orders → Sales Orders
- Abandoned checkouts → Deals
Product variants also appear as separate Products in CRM, linked back to the main Shopify product.
The abandoned checkout workflow can also be useful. If you enable it, Zoho creates abandoned checkouts as Deals with Negotiation/Review as the default stage. When the customer later completes the checkout, Zoho can change that Deal to Closed Won and create the corresponding Sales Order.
You can also connect multiple Shopify stores. Data from all connected stores can sync into Zoho CRM, although Zoho only syncs data back to Shopify through the store you select as the default.
5. WhatsApp for Customer Messaging
Zoho CRM’s WhatsApp integration lets teams manage WhatsApp conversations alongside Lead and Contact records rather than keeping those messages in a separate inbox.
The setup starts under Setup > Channels > Business Messaging. You need a Meta Business Manager account, a verified business, a WhatsApp Business account, and an eligible phone number. Only a CRM administrator can initially connect the account.
During configuration, you can also tell Zoho whether new WhatsApp customers should enter CRM as Leads or Contacts and assign conversations to specific users, groups, or roles.
Zoho currently supports Utility and Marketing templates, and you can use CRM merge fields to personalise them with information from the relevant module.
Approved templates can then be used:
- manually from a Lead or Contact
- in Workflow Rules
- inside Blueprint
- through Journey Builder
So this can go beyond simply storing WhatsApp chats in CRM.
Save Time With tl;dv + Zoho
If your team already records customer calls with tl;dv, connecting Zoho CRM is a practical place to start. It cuts down the admin that usually follows each meeting and helps keep CRM records current without relying on reps to come back and update them later.
Start with the post-call task your team repeats most, whether that is logging the meeting or updating the Contact, then test the workflow on a recent recording before rolling it out more widely.
You can connect tl;dv with Zoho CRM and set up the workflow from the tl;dv Integrations page.
FAQs About Zoho CRM Integrations
Are Zoho CRM integrations free?
Some are, but there is no single price for Zoho integrations.
The cost can depend on the integration itself, your Zoho plan, the third-party app, and whether you use an automation platform such as Zoho Flow. Zoho One includes many Zoho services and Flow allowances, while third-party tools may still require their own paid subscription. Some Marketplace extensions also have separate pricing.
If cost matters, check three things before installing anything: whether the integration is included in your Zoho plan, whether the connected app requires a paid tier, and whether the workflow has usage-based limits.
What can you automate with Zoho CRM integrations?
Quite a lot, depending on the connection.
Common tasks include creating or updating Leads and Contacts, syncing customer data, adding notes, sending emails, creating tasks, moving information between apps, generating invoices, and triggering another workflow when a CRM record changes.
Zoho Flow also supports conditions, delays, custom functions, and multi-step workflows, while Zoho CRM APIs and Functions can handle more specific business logic when the standard actions are not enough.
For example, a closed Deal could trigger an invoice in Zoho Books, update another CRM field, and start the next customer workflow without someone handling each step manually.
Do you need coding to integrate Zoho CRM with other apps?
Not for most common setups.
Direct integrations, Marketplace extensions, and Zoho Flow can handle many workflows without code. Zoho Flow uses triggers and actions to connect apps visually.
Coding becomes useful when you need custom business logic, a proprietary system, an unsupported API action, or a workflow that the existing connectors cannot reproduce. Zoho supports custom Functions, REST APIs, webhooks, and connectors for those cases.
Can Zoho CRM integrate with an app that does not have a ready-made integration?
Often, yes.
If there is no direct integration or Marketplace extension, you can check Zoho Flow first. For more specific requirements, Zoho CRM supports REST APIs, webhooks, custom Functions, and connectors that can communicate with external services.
The question then becomes less about whether a connection is technically possible and more about how much custom work it needs.
Are there limits on how many automated integration tasks you can run?
There can be.
Zoho Flow plans include a set number of tasks, and most action steps executed by a flow count toward that allowance. Task usage resets with the billing cycle, and Zoho provides add-ons or overage options when organizations need more capacity.
Custom CRM integrations can also be affected by API limits, so higher-volume workflows should factor usage into the integration design rather than treating capacity as unlimited.
