TL;DR: Is Jamie AI Worth Your Money in 2026?
Jamie AI is one of the most expensive AI meeting assistants on the market right now, and to be frank, it doesn’t justify the price tag. Its free plan only provides 10 AI notes per month with a 30-minute cap, and then it gets pricey quick: €25 a month for 20 notes, or €47 for unlimited. When I ran a sales call through it in October 2026, the notes, speaker names, and auto-assigned tasks were genuinely good. But Jamie still has no video recording, no scheduled multi-meeting reports, and no sales coaching. It’s a polished bot-free notetaker, and in today’s crowded market, that’s no longer enough to justify the premium.
Best if: you have up to 10 short calls per month and want a free, audio-only recorder.
Avoid if: you are looking for detailed meeting analysis, sales features, AI coaching, or working without an unlimited budget.
The verdict: Jamie covers audio recording reliably and produces decent notes, but it can’t compete in terms of value with the top AI meeting assistants.
If you’re after an AI meeting assistant in 2026, you’ll be looking for something that’s affordable, super accurate, offers a wide range of AI features, and is focused on privacy. Does Jamie AI fill that gap? Let’s find out.
Jamie’s USP was once a pretty good way to stand out in a crowded market. What was it? Bot-free recording. Most Jamie AI alternatives have a virtual bot that joins the call and records the meeting from inside, but times are changing. Since 2025, Read AI, Fireflies, Fathom, and tl;dv have all released bot-free recording, tl;dv’s being a particular highlight as it comes with a built-in consent collection mechanism, making it the only one that’s clearly and transparently compliant with GDPR, APPI, and other major regulatory frameworks.
Jamie, however, doesn’t have much else to stand out. It records and transcribes your meeting by processing audio data directly from the meeting platform. It’s unobtrusive, it takes decent notes, but it no longer has a standout USP. And the price hasn’t lowered to reflect that…
If you’re starting to realize that Jamie’s bot-free advantage has disintegrated, you might be on the look out for some Jamie AI alternatives. We’ll look at the advantages and disadvantages of using MeetJamie first, and then dive into the Jamie AI alternatives that you can use instead.
Jamie AI Review: What Is It?

Jamie is a bot-free AI meeting assistant designed to take rich meeting notes, automate annoying tasks, and generally save your team more time. Jamie works for any meeting, both online and offline.
Not only does it record and transcribe your meetings, it also automates follow-up tasks and action items. There’s a chatbot that can answer questions about any of your meetings, or if you were away, it can tell you what your team got up to in your absence. You also get one-click meeting note sharing to make collaboration easy.
Jamie’s AI recognizes distinct speakers and names them for you. On calendar meetings, it pulls names from the invite and remembers voices from previous meetings, so speakers are usually labeled before you open the transcript. For in-person conversations, you can add the names yourself.
All in all, Jamie is a great tool for empowering ambitious founders, managers, investors, and recruiters. It’s a great help for sales teams as it analyzes your sales conversations to identify key buying signals, anticipate objections, and more so you can close more deals. However, unlike some MeetJamie alternatives, it cannot help sales managers track sales playbooks, speaker analytics, or have AI objection handling tips.
How Did Jamie AI Perform When I Tested It?
I tested Jamie AI’s free plan on a mock sales call over Google Meet in October 2026, with Dani playing the prospect. I installed the Windows app, connected Google Calendar, and hit Start Jamie when the meeting began. No bot joined the call.

A few things stood out:
- Speakers were named automatically. Jamie took both names from the calendar invite and attributed the transcript lines correctly, with no manual tagging.
- The summary was accurate. It caught the budget, the 40-to-60-seat expansion, the CFO’s security concern, and the follow-up time.
- Tasks came with sensible due dates. “Today” became October 6 and “by Friday” became October 9, both assigned to me.
- Ask Jamie answered from the transcript. I asked for the budget and the decision-maker, and it cited the meeting it pulled the answer from.

Two things to watch. Connecting Google Calendar asks for access to your contacts and every calendar you can see, not just your own events. And there’s still no video: you get a transcript, notes, and tasks, but nothing to rewatch.

Jamie AI Pros
- Bot-Free. Jamie doesn’t need a bot to record, transcribe, and summarize meetings.
- Compatibility. Jamie works with any call (and in-person conversations), regardless of the platform used.
- High Quality Notes and Summaries. The notes and summaries are easy to skim and provide necessary information.
- Speaker Memory. Jamie names speakers from your calendar invite and remembers voices from past meetings, so you rarely have to tag anyone.
- Ask Jamie. You can ask Jamie’s chatbot anything. Whether you want updates on a call you missed or help with generating a follow-up email, Jamie is there to help.
- Language Support. Jamie supports notes and transcripts in 99+ languages, and it scored a solid 42/50 in tl;dv’s German transcription test.

Jamie AI Cons
- No Video Recording. Jamie’s bot-free approach makes it impossible for users to record video.
- No Sales Coaching Features. Jamie doesn’t provide specific sales coaching features so it’s difficult for your team to improve.
- No Scheduled Multi-Meeting Reports. Ask Jamie can answer questions about past meetings, but there are no recurring reports that track trends across your calls and land in your inbox.
- CRM Integrations Are Gated. Jamie’s integration menu lists HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, Dynamics 365, Asana, Notion, and more, but CRM sync and MCP only unlock on Pro (€47 a month, or €39 billed annually). Plus users get Notion, Google Docs, and OneNote.

Jamie AI Pricing: How Much Does Jamie AI Cost in 2026?

Jamie has 5 plans: Free, Plus, Pro, Team, and Enterprise.
The Free plan offers up an underwhelming 10 meeting transcripts per month, with a 30 minute cap on the call length.
The Plus plan will set you back €25 per month (or €21 per month billed annually) and it allows you to record, transcribe, and summarize an even more underwhelming 20 meetings per month, though the limit is 2 hours at least.
The Pro plan costs a whopping €47 per month (or €39 per month billed annually) and unlocks the ability to record and transcribe unlimited meetings, each with a 5-hour limit. With this plan, you also unlock CRM integrations like Salesforce and HubSpot, plus MCP access for AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT.
The Team plan costs €39 per user per month (or €33 per user billed annually) and provides unlimited transcription and summaries. Meetings have a 5-hour limit and your data will be encrypted in transit and at rest. It includes a few additional collaborative features like shared templates.
The Enterprise plan is customizable and requires a sales call to get a specific quote. This plan gets you user analytics, as well as customized consent notification and enterprise level security like SSO.

What’s Changing With Jamie’s Data Processing on October 30, 2026?
On October 2, 2026, Jamie emailed customers to say it’s simplifying its list of subprocessors, the third-party providers that handle customer data on its behalf. From October 30, it plans to add Microsoft Deutschland GmbH (Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Foundry) for the AI model inference behind Jamie’s AI features, with processing in the European Union. The same notice says it will remove six providers: ElevenLabs, Upstash, Plus Five Five (Resend), Vercel, Langfuse, and PostHog.
Customers get two weeks to object in writing, which is the process GDPR Article 28 sets out for changing subprocessors. Until October 30, the current providers stay on the list in Jamie’s Trust Center.

Two caveats before you file this under “EU-only.” The new provider covers AI inference, not every step of Jamie’s processing, and Jamie’s current list already includes US-based providers such as WorkOS, which handles sign-in and SSO. And Jamie hasn’t said which Azure deployment it uses; depending on that choice, Microsoft’s documentation shows requests can be processed anywhere inside the EU Data Boundary rather than in one fixed country. It’s a meaningful step for EU teams, but it isn’t a blanket guarantee.

Is Jamie AI’s Notetaker Worth It in 2026?
Clearly Jamie is a powerful tool. It transcribes, takes notes, summarizes, and displays action items clearly. However, the problem is that the rest of the AI meeting assistant market has caught up faster than Jamie has evolved. tl;dv, for instance, provides unlimited transcripts (with video and audio recording, depending on whether you opt for bot or no bot) and limited AI features for free. It also has multi-meeting intelligence, recurring reports, custom note templates, sales coaching, and more for a much more affordable price point. Plus, like Jamie AI, tl;dv is also European-hosted, making it win on all fronts. Jamie isn’t the only bot-free notetaker facing that pressure, either. Granola works the same way, and we compare the alternatives to Granola separately.
At the end of the day, Jamie’s paid plans don’t offer great value for money. Compared to some of the Jamie AI alternatives (which we’ll get onto shortly), the paid plans are pricey. Not only do they rise in price quite steeply, the advanced features that do exist, like CRM sync and MCP, sit behind the €47 Pro plan, and Jamie’s new Agentic Workflows are still in early access.
Let’s take a look at some of Jamie AI’s alternatives that provide more bang for your buck.
5 Jamie AI Alternatives for More Affordable Transcriptions
Our top 5 alternatives to Jamie AI are:
- tl;dv
- Krisp
- Avoma
- Fireflies
- Tactiq
1. tl;dv
tl;dv is a top tier Jamie AI alternative that beats it from just about every angle. It has the flexibility of having both bot (for video recording) and bot-free (for device audio recording on any platform) modes, it’s also European-hosted so your data is stored in the EU and it follows GDPR and the EU AI Act rigorously.

In addition to matching Jamie’s bot-free ability, tl;dv has highly accurate transcripts that can detect language changes mid-call, as well as pinpoint precision for speaker recognition. Furthermore, tl;dv is more affordable, more powerful in terms of what its AI can do (multi-meeting insights anybody?) and it has state-of-the-art sales features that Jamie doesn’t even attempt to compete with.
With tl;dv, unlimited meeting recordings (both audio and video), transcriptions, and AI moment summaries are all available without any charge. tl;dv’s video recording works on calls using MS Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet (if it’s admitted as per Google’s new rules), but it’s bot-free, audio-only recording is available on any platform — even offline calls.
In McKinsey’s 2026 State of AI survey, 80% of respondents say AI has already improved their own productivity, and tl;dv is built to turn that into team-wide gains. For instance, tl;dv has over 5,000 integrations. This means you can sync your meeting notes with your favorite CRM automatically. You can even create a custom meeting template so that the correct fields are automatically filled out in your chosen CRM. This saves so much time that your team can spend actually being productive where it matters.
tl;dv has a whole bunch of pre-made meeting templates too. From HR to CS and everything in between. It has all the popular sales playbooks, including BANT, SPIN, and MEDDIC too. It also has a speaker analytics dashboard so that sales managers can check how well their reps have been following the playbooks. There, you’ll find things like talk time, monologue length, amount of filler words used, and more. This is an unbelievably powerful resource for sales training, whether you’ve called in a professional coach or you just want your team to learn by themselves.
tl;dv provides AI objection handling tips as well as other sales coaching features that MeetJamie simply doesn’t offer. For instance, tl;dv provides multi-meeting intelligence that allows you to ask its chatbot questions with context. The AI will understand all your meetings at once and can provide insights with timestamps from a whole set of different meetings, offering insights into trends and patterns. This is even better for sales managers who can get information from their reps’ calls, even if they didn’t attend themselves.
It doesn’t stop there though. tl;dv empowers users to schedule recurring reports. These come straight to your inbox on a frequency that you can decide. Use filters to choose what you want to receive reports about; for example, it could be that you want updates when a prospect mentions a competitor, and you want them every Monday morning for the previous week’s sales calls. Simply set your filters and tl;dv’s AI will provide you with a detailed report at the given time. This is what makes tl;dv one of the best MeetJamie alternatives.

While these AI reports are great for sales managers who want to maximize their sales team performance, they can also be used by other teams. Customer Success leaders can generate recurring reports to identify repeat complaints, Product Development can schedule reports to highlight areas to improve or bugs to fix, while HR can set up a recurring report to receive updates on the interview process for an open position.
In addition to these powerful automatic features, tl;dv provides language support in more than 40 languages, which it can automatically detect during calls. It also offers a range of different dialects and a localized platform in 7 languages.
tl;dv Pros
- Free AI Integration: tl;dv leverages first class AI to provide summaries, notes, and automatic speaker detection.
- Flexibility: Choose between bot-free audio recording on any platform, or video and audio recording with a bot (with built-in consent to satisfy GDPR, APPI, and more).
- Highly Accurate Transcripts and Speaker Recognition: tl;dv offers state-of-the-art transcription and speaker recognition, even in bot-free mode.
- Free and Instant Translations: tl;dv’s transcriptions are available in more than 40 languages for Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meet. It also has a localized platform in 7 languages, making it an excellent choice for multinational teams.
- Incredible Free Plan: Unlimited free video recordings and transcriptions of Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meet calls.
- Easy to Use: tl;dv’s sleek design makes it super easy for beginners and experts alike.
- Multi-Meeting Intelligence. Schedule recurring reports to get insights from multiple meetings at once, delivered straight to your inbox.
- Sales Coaching. Upgrade your sales team using insights from your sales calls. Improve objection handling and use templates or custom playbooks to personalize your coaching strategy.
- Timestamps and Tagging Features: Timestamp your meeting highlights to quickly jump back to specific moments in the call. It also features the ability to tag colleagues at specific meeting moments so they get an email with a link straight to their inbox.
- 5,000+ Integrations: Push timestamps and meeting clips directly to Notion, Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, and 5,000+ more.
- Custom Meeting Templates. Create and edit meeting templates so that the AI takes notes exactly how you want it to. Sync these directly with your CRM of choice by creating a template with the CRM fields you wish to fill.
- Create Clips and Highlights: Scan your library and make clips and highlight reels to condense insights.
- Intuitive Library: Search your meetings library for keywords in transcripts to quickly find what you’re looking for.
- Concurrent Meetings. tl;dv’s AI can record and transcribe multiple meetings at the same time, making your life easier if you’re double (or triple+) booked.
tl;dv Cons
- Compatibility: Not yet available for Webex or BlueJeans for video recording (though the bot-free experience allows audio-only recording on any platform).
- No Revenue Intelligence. While tl;dv provides ample sales coaching features, it doesn’t have any revenue intelligence features yet.
tl;dv Pricing
tl;dv’s Pro plan starts at $18 per user per month. This plan gets you 5,000+ integrations, unlimited “Ask tl;dv” prompts, and unlimited multi-meeting reports among other things.
The Business plan costs $29 per user per month (when billed annually) and unlocks sales playbook monitoring and AI coaching, AI objection handling tips, and multi-meeting speaker insights.
tl;dv’s free plan offers a premium introduction to the tool. It lets you try out all the core features and a few limited advanced features without any strings attached.
Depending on which region of the world you’re in, you can get up to a 40% discount on the paid plans!
Free Plan Features
- Unlimited video recordings and transcripts
- Record Google Meet, Zoom, and MS Teams calls
- Bot-free mode on the desktop application that can record any conversation, online or offline, with a consent collection mechanism built-in to comply with GDPR, APPI, and other major regulatory frameworks

tl;dv vs Jamie AI

tl;dv and Jamie AI are lightyears apart in terms of what they can do with your transcript. Jamie used to have a stand-out difference in that it was uniquely bot-free. That ship has sailed. tl;dv offers bot-free recording too (unlimited transcripts, for free, if you were wondering). Without that edge, Jamie AI is riding on a wave from 2020 without embracing the technological shifts that are happening all around it.
If you want to maximize productivity, automation, and conversational intelligence, then tl;dv is one of the best Jamie AI alternatives you could wish for.
Not only does tl;dv’s free plan provide almost as much value as Jamie’s paid plans, the advanced features that tl;dv unlocks in its higher plans set the bar so much higher in terms of what you can do with your recording. After all, what’s the point in recording a conversation if you aren’t going to put it to good use?
For instance, tl;dv’s multi-meeting intelligence means that its AI can remember past calls and identify patterns, trends, and referential context from previous meetings. You can schedule recurring reports about any topic you desire, monitor your sales team from the speaker analytics dashboard, and even make sure they’re following their sales scripts. You’ll get AI objection handling tips, transcripts in more than 40 languages, and integrations with all your work tools for instant and easy automation.
Jamie, on the other hand, can answer questions about past meetings, but it doesn’t have any sales features and cannot schedule AI reports. It has no speaker analytics dashboard and no objection handling tips. Its speaker recognition is genuinely good now, but that’s table stakes. And Jamie’s Plus plan, which only unlocks 20 AI notes a month, costs $24 a month billed annually (€21 in Europe). tl;dv Pro costs $18 a month billed annually and gives you unlimited AI notes. You do the math.
2. Krisp AI

Krisp is one of the best bot-free Jamie AI alternatives on the market. It’s used by big names like Atlassian, Sony, and even NASA, but it has a bit of a niche focus. Where Jamie is mostly focused on saving time with an unobtrusive experience, Krisp focuses most of its effort on audio quality.
Slotting into any of your meetings, Krisp markets itself as a smart layer. It doesn’t matter whether you’re using Skype, Zoom, or even Slack calls, Krisp can record and transcribe without a bot.
Krisp doesn’t just specialize in high quality audio settings though. It’s also a brilliant tool for multilingual users, offering far more than just multilingual transcriptions. Got a call with someone who only speaks Spanish, but yours is a little rusty (or non-existent)? Invite Krisp’s AI live interpreter and you’ll hear the Spanish participant in English. This works in 20 different languages!
Krisp’s unique features just keep on coming. Its AI accent localization is especially useful for call centers that have a lot of foreign English-speaking staff. It adjusts their accent in real-time to make call reps more understandable.
Krisp also has a powerful AI noise cancellation feature, allowing you to hear things with absolute clarity.
Krisp isn’t all sunshine and rainbows though. Its conversational intelligence leaves a lot to be desired in comparison to other Jamie AI alternatives like tl;dv. It doesn’t provide any multi-meeting intelligence, making it a weaker offering for those that want to pull insights from multiple calls at once. This is a big hindrance for sales or revenue teams who don’t receive any specific features with Krisp either.
Krisp Pros
- AI Noise Cancellation. Drain out any and all background noise so you can focus fully on the conversation.
- Live AI Interpreter. Talk with people from over 20 languages without a problem by inviting your live AI interpreter.
- AI Accent Localization. Improve the accent clarity of your call center team by localizing their accent.
- Bot-Free and No New Hardware Required. Krisp doesn’t require an integration to join a call, it doesn’t enter with a bot, and it doesn’t require new hardware for any of its features.
- Good Free Plan. Krisp’s free plan provides unlimited transcription and some limited versions of other features, including noise cancellation and AI summaries.
- Custom Vocabulary. Krisp has a custom vocabulary so that you can train the AI to accurately record industry-specific jargon.
- Real-Time Meeting Transcription. Krisp provides real-time transcripts that are super easy to edit and share, even during the call.
Krisp Cons
- No Multi-Meeting Intelligence. Krisp’s conversational intelligence is on the weaker side. It cannot identify patterns or trends across multiple meetings.
- No Sales Coaching Features. Krisp doesn’t utilize its feature-set to provide sales coaching features for sales reps.
- Lack of Integrations. While Krisp doesn’t require any integrations to join online meetings, it does need them to sync meeting notes with other tools. It works only with Zapier, providing no native integrations of its own.
- Can Be Unreliable at Times. Some reviewers comment that Krisp can suffer from occasional audio issues.
Krisp AI Pricing
Krisp’s AI meeting assistant provides either a Pro or a Business account, and a yearly subscription to either will save you 50% on monthly costs. Paid yearly, the Pro plan costs $8 per month, while the Business plan clocks in at $15 per month.
The Pro plan includes unlimited AI Noise Cancellation, AI summaries and action items, as well as 3GB of storage, multi-language support, and the option to record video (with a bot).
The Business plan improves on this by offering 30GB storage, unlimited integrations, priority customer support, SOC2 report access and SSO.
Free Plan Features
- Unlimited Transcription
- AI Noise Cancellation (60 mins daily)
- Meeting History limited
- AI Summaries & Action Items (2 daily)
- Bot-free recording & note-taking
- Custom Vocabulary
Krisp vs Jamie AI
Jamie AI and Krisp are both bot-free AI meeting assistants, but where Krisp stands out is with its audio quality and language support, especially on a call center level.
However, the truth is that Krisps’s USPs are fairly niche. Unless you’re going to be using Krisp in a call center setting, most of its advanced features will go unused.
As far as conversational intelligence goes, neither Jamie nor Krisp particularly stand out, but in terms of an unobtrusive recording experience, Krisp comes out slightly on top due to its clearer audio capabilities.
3. Avoma

Avoma is a Jamie AI alternative that’s great for sales and revenue teams. While it’s a versatile tool, the plans are structured in such a way that make it lean more towards revenue teams. You can get set up pretty easily, it has a clear pricing structure, and, unlike Jamie and Krisp, it pushes you to actually use your conversational insights to make a decisive impact on your business.
Like most MeetJamie alternatives, it does have a bot that joins calls, takes notes, and summarizes the conversation. However, it takes things a big step further by helping you manage the entire customer lifecycle from start to finish. Avoma helps you organize your meetings and plan your online calls more easily.
Despite only being available with a bot, Avoma is capable of joining lots of different video conferencing platforms. It works with the following: MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, UberConference, BlueJeans, GoToMeeting, and more.
Until recently, Avoma’s lower plans offered weak value for money compared to its highest plan, and it also struggled to keep up with a lack of Zapier integration. However, now Avoma has integrated with Zapier so it’s capable of syncing your meeting notes with thousands more tools than before. It’s also improved and fleshed out its lower plans to include unlimited transcription across all tiers. However, this restructuring has come at a price: Avoma no longer offers a free plan. It does offer a free trial in which you can make use of all Avoma’s features for a set period of time, but nothing more.
Avoma Pros
- Compatibility. It can be used across Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans, UberConference, GoToMeeting, and more…
- Sales Coaching. It offers sales coaching derived from personalized insights.
- Revenue Intelligence. Plan your sales pipeline better by forecasting deals with Avoma’s AI.
- Collaboration. A collaborative tool that allows multiple people to edit notes in real-time.
- Easy to Search. Searchable database across all meetings.
Avoma Cons
- Language Support. There are no localized platforms for non-English speaking users.
- Customer Support. There’s no customer support on the free plan, and only limited support until the Business and Enterprise plans.
- Needs a Bot. Unlike Jamie, Avoma needs a bot to join and record calls.
Pricing
Avoma’s pricing tiers have recently had an overhaul. The AI Meeting Assistant plan, which used to be the Starter plan, costs $19 per user per month. This has recently been bumped up to include unlimited transcription minutes and unlimited file uploads for transcription. You can rename the bot, sync with your calendar, and integrate with thousands of other work tools, including CRMs and Zapier.
The Conversational Intelligence plan comes in at $49 per month and unlocks AI scorecards, talk pattern and topic intelligence, and ROI intelligence.
Finally, Avoma provides a Revenue Intelligence plan that will set you back $79 per user per month. This plan is built to help you streamline pipeline reviews. It provides custom deal boards, risk scores, AI win-loss analysis, and automatic CRM field updates.
Avoma does not offer a free plan. It does have a free trial so you can test out any of its features over a limited time period. This used to be 14 days but now it’s unclear how long the trial lasts.
Avoma vs MeetJamie
Avoma is a superior tool to MeetJamie, however you do need to accept the fact that it comes with a bot. Where Jamie can record and transcribe without needing to join as a bot, Avoma doesn’t have this luxury. Still, though, it can record from a lot of video conferencing platforms, making it a great tool to use if you tend to use a more obscure meeting platform.
Avoma’s three subscription tiers are perfectly chosen to break up their features. The AI Meeting Assistant plan is a direct competitor to MeetJamie. It does the standard thing of recording, transcribing, and summarizing your conversations. It has unlimited usage, but it comes with the downside of having to join with a bot.
The Conversational Intelligence plan takes the AI to the next level so that you can actually utilize your transcript. Finally, the Revenue Intelligence plan lets you go full steam ahead into transforming conversations into conversions. These two plans are far more advanced than anything Jamie offers.
For a comprehensive comparison between Avoma and the number one bot-free Jamie AI alternative on this list, see our guide: tl;dv vs Avoma.

4. Fireflies AI

Another one of the best Jamie AI alternatives is Fireflies.ai. This popular AI meeting assistant specializes in conversation intelligence, document analysis, and automated transcriptions.
It’s a great tool for onboarding new team members, and while it’s not specialized in sales like Avoma or tl;dv, sales coaches can leave comments or time-stamps for in-the-moment sales training. Fireflies is another Jamie competitor that can automatically fill out your CRMs with meeting notes too, making automation a breeze.
Besides that, Fireflies provides top quality transcripts in more than 69 languages and even has custom vocabulary so you can add your own terminology to the AI’s understanding.
This platform is used by big brands like Netflix and Expedia, so you can be sure you’re working with one of the best AI note-takers. Its sentiment analysis empowers you to monitor your meeting participants’ emotional undertones. However, one drawback is that video recording is only available in the Business plan and above. This is still better than Jamie’s complete lack of video recording.
Fireflies Pros
- Good Integrations. Fireflies has a bunch of good integrations, including Salesforce and other popular CRMs.
- Custom Vocabulary. Fireflies enables users to customize their vocabulary and add industry-specific jargon to the AI’s dictionary (in English).
- Great AI. It has a fantastic AI-powered search function which makes it easy to find meeting moments across your entire library.
- Collaboration. It’s great for team collaboration and has plenty of features built to improve teamwork.
- Compatibility. Fireflies is available on Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams, and more…
- Translations. Translates into more than 69+ languages!
- Automatically Fill Your CRMs. Like Otter and tl;dv, Fireflies can automatically sync meeting notes with your CRM of choice.
- Bot-Free Feature. Fireflies usually has a bot that joins the call, however they’ve recently released a bot-free feature that directly competes with Jamie AI.
Fireflies Cons
- Paid Video Recording. To record video, something of a basic feature, you’ll need to sign up to the $19 per month plan.
- No Multi-Meeting Intelligence. Fireflies doesn’t enable users to access AI insights across multiple meetings at once.
- No Playbooks, Scorecards, or Objection Handling Tips. It also doesn’t provide any sales coaching features, making it less competitive in terms of sales features.
Fireflies AI Pricing
Fireflies’ Pro plan starts at $10 per user per month. This unlocks unlimited transcription, unlimited AI summaries, and 8,000 minutes of storage space.
The Business plan costs $19 per user per month and unlocks unlimited storage, video recording, and conversational intelligence.
Finally, the Enterprise plan will set you back $39 per month. This gets you private storage, dedicated support, and custom data retention, among other things.
Fireflies has a pretty good free plan too.
Free Plan Features
- Unlimited transcription
- Limited AI Summaries
- 800 mins of storage/seat
- Record on Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, and more
- Transcriptions in 69+ languages.
- Search within meetings
- Playback (1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x)
- Comments & reactions
- Clip out moments as soundbites
- Global search
- Uploads
- 3 public channels
- API access
- Domain capture (Auto-add)
- Fireflies mobile app
Fireflies vs Jamie
Jamie and Fireflies are similar tools in many ways. However, Fireflies has been around longer and garnered a reputation for being a stable and secure note-taker. It has better conversational intelligence, is capable of automatically syncing meeting notes with CRMs, and its recent bot-free mode makes Jamie’s old USP redundant.
For a breakdown of how Fireflies stacks up against the number one Jamie AI alternative on this list, tl;dv, see our article: tl;dv vs Fireflies.

In this tl;dv vs Fireflies.ai showdown, both stand out as remarkable AI notetakers, excelling in providing detailed transcriptions, concise summaries and a vast range of integrations.

5. Tactiq

Tactiq is the final MeetJamie alternative in this list, and it’s another bot-driven AI meeting assistant. It records (video and audio), transcribes, and takes notes during your live calls. Tactiq also has quite a few unique features. For example, it provides real-time transcriptions so that you can track what was said on the go.
Like Fireflies, it transcribes in more than 60 languages, supports regional dialects, but even better, it even automatically removes filler words. This means that Tactiq’s transcripts are super smooth and easy to scan. Tactiq’s AI can also perform sentiment analysis, assisting your sales reps with additional insights based on the emotional tone that underscores the words.
Tactiq takes pride in its ability to assign tasks based on meeting discussions. It’s great at keeping things organized so you can have a centralized source of truth for all client-based information. It’s also worth mentioning that Tactiq is commonly praised for its quick and efficient customer support.
Tactiq Pros
- Real-Time Transcriptions. Tactiq’s transcriptions appear in real-time so you can make notes or share snippets on the go.
- Translations. Tactiq’s transcripts come in more than 60 languages and it has a localized platform in 7 languages, making it great for multilingual teams.
- Great AI Summaries. Tactiq’s AI summarizes meetings, pulling out the most insightful comments for you to rewatch.
- Task Assignment. Tactiq enables users to assign tasks based on the meeting discussions.
- Sentiment Analysis. Tactiq’s AI can determine the emotional tone behind words.
- Efficient Customer Support. Tactiq’s customer support is quick, friendly, and efficient.
- Bot-Free. Tactiq is a bot-free Jamie AI alternative that acts as a browser extension.
Tactiq Cons
- No Sales Coaching. Tactiq suffers in this regard by not being able to use its AI to improve sales.
- No Multi-Meeting Intelligence. Tactiq’s AI is limited to single meeting insights. It’s unable to connect the dots between two or more separate meetings.
- Questionable Compliance. Tactiq doesn’t comment on whether or not it is SOC2 compliant, its data retention policies are not clearly presented, and its sentiment analysis could run into the EU AI Act’s ban on inferring people’s emotions in the workplace.
- No Concurrent Meetings. Tactiq doesn’t allow users to record more than one meeting at the same time, making it a weaker offering for busy managers.
Tactiq Pricing
Tactiq has recently changed their subscription tiers. They currently have four plans: Free, Pro, Team, Enterprise.
The Pro plan now starts at $12 per user per month. This unlocks unlimited transcriptions and 10 AI credits per month.
The Team plan is now $20 per user per month and allows for unlimited AI credits and priority support.
Finally, the Enterprise Plan is customizable and varies in price depending on your needs. It offers managed data retention and dedicated spaces.
Free Plan Features
- 5 AI credits per month
- 10 transcripts per month
- Share and export transcripts
- Upload meeting recordings
Tactiq’s free plan also allows you to use some basic features like global search and edit transcript.
Tactiq vs Jamie
Tactiq is a solid Jamie AI alternative, transcribing in real-time with sentiment analysis. It should be noted, however, that since February 2025 the EU AI Act has banned AI that infers people’s emotions in the workplace, which puts sentiment analysis on work calls on shaky ground for European companies like Jamie. Tactiq technically doesn’t need to follow these EU laws, but that makes it the wrong choice for EU-based businesses.
Tactiq is a slightly better performer when it comes to conversational intelligence, though the user experience of Jamie is arguably better. Jamie’s pricing structure is still very expensive compared to Tactiq’s however, making it a more affordable option to get unlimited transcripts with filler word removal and automatic task assignment.

Which of These Jamie AI Alternatives is the Best?
Ultimately, you need to decide which of these Jamie AI alternatives is best for you and your business. It would help to know exactly why you want a replacement.
If you need to prepare for a call center setting, then Krisp is a fascinating alternative with lots of additional qualities for improved audio. However, both Krisp and Jamie miss out on the conversational intelligence that you can potentially pull from your meetings.
Tactiq is an extension-based alternative with some nifty features, while Fireflies is a safe bet with solid transcriptions and a great AI chatbot. Both Tactiq and Fireflies offer many languages, filler word removal, and sentiment analysis. These features are absent in Jamie AI and could prove to be a turning point.
However, if you want to take your conversational intelligence to the next level, you should be looking at tl;dv or Avoma. Avoma has the advantage of revenue intelligence, making it the standout platform if you want to effectively forecast sales and manage your pipeline from start to finish.
But tl;dv offers the best bang for your buck in terms of value, and supports you if you want to remain bot-free like Jamie, but with surer guardrails in place for GDPR compliance. It provides unlimited high-quality transcriptions and AI summaries for free, integrates with 5,000+ tools for seamless automations, and provides speaker analytics, sales playbook monitoring, and AI objection handling tips to improve sales calls, all at a more affordable price than Avoma’s similar offering.
Plus, tl;dv provides the opportunity to schedule recurring reports which saves so much time as a manager that you’ll wonder what you ever did without it.
FAQs About Jamie AI in 2026
What is Jamie AI?
Jamie AI is a privacy-first AI meeting assistant and note-taker designed to capture, transcribe, and summarize meetings without joining as a visible bot. It records audio directly from your device (desktop or mobile), turning conversations into structured notes, transcripts, action items, and smart summaries. It works for online meetings (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.), hybrid setups, in-person discussions, and even offline scenarios.
How does Jamie AI work?
Jamie uses your computer’s or phone’s microphone/system audio to record meetings locally. After the meeting, its AI processes the audio to generate human-like notes in professional business language, with features like automatic speaker recognition (with memory), task detection, topic-based summaries, and searchable history. You stay fully present in the conversation since no bot appears in the meeting. It supports 99+ languages for output and works across Mac, Windows, and iOS.
What makes Jamie AI different from other AI meeting tools like Fathom, Fireflies, or tl;dv?
Before, Jamie’s unique selling point was its bot-free recording. However, Fathom, Fireflies, and tl;dv all include bot-free recording now.
In truth, Jamie has kept shipping: speaker memory, more CRM integrations, an official ChatGPT plugin, and Agentic Workflows in early access. But none of that is unique anymore. Its main distinction is a polished, bot-free experience with EU hosting.
Is Jamie AI free to use?
Yes, Jamie offers a free plan with limited usage: up to 10 AI notes/transcripts per month and a 30-minute maximum meeting duration.
Paid plans unlock more meetings, longer recordings (up to 5 hours), unlimited storage, advanced features like team collaboration, and higher usage limits. Pricing is typically billed monthly or annually (with discounts for annual plans), though it gets expensive quickly, especially compared to alternatives.
Does Jamie AI support mobile or phone calls?
Yes. There’s a dedicated iOS app for capturing meetings and calls on the go. The desktop app handles computer-based meetings, and the system syncs everything across devices for seamless access to notes and the “Ask Jamie” chat feature.
How private and secure is Jamie AI?
Jamie positions itself as a privacy-first tool. It encrypts data in transit and at rest, hosts data in the EU on every plan, is GDPR compliant and ISO 27001 certified, and says it doesn’t train models on your data. SOC 2 Type II is listed as pending.
Because there’s no bot in the call, Jamie offers an optional consent email, but telling people they’re being recorded is still on you, which matters now that notetaker consent cases are in federal court (more on whether bot-free recording is legal). Share links are off until you switch them on, but once live they default to anyone with the link.
From October 30, 2026, Jamie also plans to run AI inference through Microsoft Azure in the EU.
Who is Jamie AI best suited for?
Jamie is ideal for professionals, executives, teams, and anyone tired of manually taking notes or dealing with intrusive meeting bots. It’s particularly popular among users who value privacy, attend many in-person or sensitive meetings, or want high-quality, natural summaries without extra effort. It’s used across industries for sales calls, internal meetings, client discussions, and more
Does Jamie AI join as a bot?
No. Jamie AI offers a bot-free experience, recording your device’s audio rather than the specific call itself. Where this was once its standout difference, other tools have caught on. tl;dv, in particular, offers the choice of bot-free recording (audio only) or a bot experience that records video too.
Is All of Jamie AI's Data Processed in the EU?
Jamie hosts customer data in the EU on every plan. From October 30, 2026, it also plans to move AI model inference to Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Foundry in the EU, replacing several other providers. That covers AI processing, but not everything: Jamie’s Trust Center also lists US-based subprocessors, such as WorkOS for sign-in and SSO. Check the full list if your team needs every provider in the EU.
