Hello! Welcome to our June update. We’ve got a lot to unpack, so let’s get right to it.
The first Product Hunt launch is probably the biggest moment for any early-stage startup. For a few minutes, the founders and the team can enjoy the fruits of their hard work and shout their vision from the rooftops to the whole tech world. When we started tl;dv in 2020 with the aim of improving remote meeting culture efficiency, we could have never anticipated the level of support and interest from all of you! We’re incredibly grateful. Today, and well over 2,000,000 meeting minutes later, it’s finally time to share our first version of tl;dv with the world. Let’s do this!
Here’s a short tl;dv of all of our highlights this month, by Rapha!
Help us push tl;dv to #1 Product of the Day🥇
Upvotes, especially in the first hours (a.k.a now) make a huuuuge difference to the possible success of a Product Hunt launch. It means a great deal to us to celebrate and share this moment with you, and your upvotes really count!

Product updates
In June 2021, we readied our platform and Google Chrome Extension for our biggest milestone yet – today’s launch on Product Hunt. As always we reflect all Google Chrome Extension updates in our Changelogs. Here’s how we’ve improved and iterated in June for the big day:
Downloads your tl;dvs
Many were asking for ways to download your meeting recordings. Giving our users full control and flexibility is of high importance to us, so we’re happy to release the ability to download videos today!
Improved sharing flow
Last month we introduced the first version of an improved sharing flow. Most of you enjoyed the new functionality to share highlights in one click, but we’ve also received really useful feedback to enhance the useability. Today, we’re releasing the second iteration to make sharing even more seamless. How do you like it?
Share tl;dv with all participants when you invite tl;dv on the fly
Now, by default, all tl;dv recordings will now be shared with all invitees automatically, no matter if you add tl;dv on the calendar event, or on the fly during the meeting. Easy peasy! If you don’t want a meeting to be shared with all invitees, simply unselect this option on the tl;dv interface during the live meeting.
